If you’re tired of guessing what to say in meetings, searching for resources at midnight, or trying to decode school jargon on your own—you’re in the right place. The Collaborative IEP Membership gives you the tools, guidance, and community you need to make meaningful progress for your child.
Join Ashley and a team of trusted special education experts for monthly coaching. Each session gives you the chance to get real-time answers, practical advocacy guidance, and encouragement as you navigate IEPs, behavior plans, inclusion, and everything in between.
Can’t make it live? No problem. Some sessions are live coaching calls, and others are asynchronous expert videos created in response to member questions. Either way, you can submit your questions anytime inside the member portal, and Ashley or another expert will provide thoughtful, personalized guidance. All live calls are recorded and added to the portal for rewatching whenever it fits your schedule, and all asynchronous trainings stay there too—so you never miss the support you need.
Calls and Q&A opportunities are offered at a variety of days and times to support busy families, working parents, and all time zones.
We bring leading special education and disability experts into the Membership to host practical, high-impact workshops. You’ll learn from advocates, educators, evaluators, therapists, attorneys, inclusion specialists, and more. Each session covers a relevant, real-world topic so you can take a comprehensive, informed approach to supporting your child at school.
Examples of past and upcoming workshops (all available for replay) include behavior and FBA fundamentals, inclusive education strategies, reading and dyslexia supports, executive functioning, progress monitoring and data collection, parent-school communication, transition planning, and navigating difficult IEP meetings.
You’ll get immediate access to our Village community — a warm, welcoming space built on the belief that it truly takes a village to navigate special education. Inside, you can share your struggles and your wins, connect with parents who understand the IEP journey firsthand, and find support from people who are walking similar paths.
Ashley and the other members are active in the community every week, answering questions, offering guidance, and making sure you never feel like you’re advocating alone. This is your place to be encouraged, supported, and surrounded by people who genuinely get it.
Once you’ve identified your priorities, you’ll get directed to the workshops and trainings that match your goals—whether you’re strengthening inclusion, navigating behavior supports, improving collaboration with your school team, or building confidence for IEP meetings.
Inside the membership, you’ll find a growing library of on-demand video workshops, including The Inclusion Workshop, The Behavior Workshop, the full collection of IEP Guru Academy videos, and The Special Education & Advocacy Lab. Altogether, you’ll have access to over 13 hours of practical, strategy-packed content designed to help you take action without feeling overwhelmed.
Whether you’re just beginning to understand the IEP process or you’re looking to sharpen advanced advocacy skills, there’s a training for every stage of the journey. All videos can be watched anytime from your member portal—perfect for busy parents on the go.
Goodbye Google rabbit holes. Hello organized, reliable resources. Inside the membership, you’ll unlock instant access to a complete, searchable library of over 85 advocacy tools designed to support every stage of the IEP process. The library is updated regularly and covers topics like inclusion, behavior supports, evaluations, accommodations, progress monitoring, communication strategies, and more. You’ll also find resources that break down specific tools and approaches—such as Orton-Gillingham reading programs, executive functioning supports, and other specialized interventions—so you can better understand what your child needs and how to advocate for it.

nice to meet you,
After years of supporting families, training professionals, and navigating my own son’s IEP journey, one thing became clear: parents need reliable guidance, actionable tools, and a supportive community to truly feel empowered.
This membership brings all of that together under one roof so you can advocate strategically, collaboratively, and confidently.
At my other jobs I work as a special education and estate planning attorney and mom to two not-so-little boys, one of whom has Down syndrome. When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the pool with my kids; driving Penny, my ’75 VW bus, to pick up coffee; cooking something delicious; or getting my hands dirty in the garden.
